The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.
Michelangelo

"Reality leaves a lot to the imagination."
John Lennon

"There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable".

Am I not supposed to have what I want? What I need?
What am I supposed to do?
- Peter Parker

"According to convention, I am simply not what I am doing now. I am also what I have done, and my conventionally edited version of my past is made to seem almost more the real "me" than what I am at this moment. For what I am seems so fleeting and intangible, but what I was is fixed and final. It is the firm basis for predictions of what I will be in the future, and so it comes about that I am more closely identified with what no longer exists than with what actually is!"
Alan Watts

"Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth.
I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm."
- Gandalf

"In this still place I follow my nature, be what it may."
KrestelCat

"What's taters, precious?"
"Po-ta-toes? Boil them, mash them, stick them in a stew.
Lovely, big, golden chips with a nice piece of fried fish."
"(juicy spit noise)"
"Even you couldn't say no to that."
"Oh, yes, we could! Spoil a nice fish…
Give it to us raw… and wriggling. You keep nasty chips."
Smeagal & Sam

"The aimless life is the constant theme of Zen art of every kind, expressing the artist's own inner state of going nowhere in a timeless moment."
- Alan Watts

Gandalf

"Will you look into the mirror?"
"What will I see?"
"Even the wisest cannot tell.
For the mirror shows many things.
Things that were…
…things that are…
…and some things…
…that have not yet come to pass."
- Galadriel & Frodo

"I wish none of this had happened."

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

…mission. Quest. Thing."
"Well, that rules you out, Pip."
- Merry & Pippin

Gimli

"Man is the only animal that blushes - or has reason to."

I will say it here, I am not an artist. My best drawing was done in a coloring book, and that stunk too. I couldn't draw to save my life.

I do, however, have an excellent taste for art, and have collected what I deemed to be the best of the best of my favorite types of art. This includes Anthro, Dragons, Elves & Ninjas, really cool landscapes and spacescapes, some art from a few of my favorite webcomics, fan art from my favorite anime, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar (the James Camerron one), How to Train Your Dragon, as well as a bunch of other superb random stuff. The majority of this art is digital and photography, with a smattering of paintings.

I do not, repeat, DO NOT, add nude or erotic crap to my favorites, as I have no use for nudes, models, sexy floozies, or any of that on my computer. The only nude artwork I do fav are special exceptions, such as extremely beautiful angel artwork, or other stirring pieces of artwork, and even these exceptions rarely show any complete nudity.

Current Residence: Somewhere in THAT general direction... *waves hand vaguely*
deviantWEAR sizing preference: Not too big, not too small, but juuust right!
Favourite genre of music: Every field has its best, but soundtracks with full orchestras consistently produced many of my favs
Favourite style of art: Digitally colored drawn art
Operating System: Mac OS X all the way!
MP3 player of choice: iPod Nano Chromatic 16GB
Wallpaper of choice: Whatever is cool and HQ
Favourite cartoon character: Wren, from the webcomic White Noise by Madsniper
Personal Quote: Did you know that 73% of all statistics are made up on the spot?
